The Adrian Tinsley Program for Undergraduate Research is happy to issue a Call
For Abstracts for the 8th Annual BSC Undergraduate Research Symposium. The
Adrian Tinsley Program encourages all students who have conducted research or creative
work with a BSC faculty mentor to participate. This may include research
conducted as part of an intensive summer experience such as the Shea Scholar or
Adrian Tinsley summer program, projects completed in research courses, Honors
Thesis work, independent study projects, or extensive classroom projects.
The Symposium will serve as a showcase of faculty-mentored research, scholarly, creative and
artistic work conducted by undergraduate students in all disciplines at Bridgewater
State College. All BSC undergraduate students, regardless of year or major,
are encouraged to participate. The entire college community is invited, and
faculty are encouraged to invite their classes to attend all or part of the
Symposium.
All presenters must complete an electronic Abstract
Submission Form that is due by Monday, April 14th. Upon receipt of your abstract you will be contacted
with specific details regarding your presentation. Questions regarding the Symposium
may be directed to the Adrian Tinsley Program Coordinators, Dr.
Peter Saccocia (x2124, psaccocia@bridgew.edu) or
Dr. Laura McAlinden (x2789, lmcalinden@bridgew.edu).
The Symposium is sponsored by the Adrian Tinsley Program for Undergraduate Research,
with funding from the BSC Foundation, the Office of the President, the Joseph
and Frances '49 Heney Student Research Fund and Class of 1952 Fund.
