Thank you for your interest in Bridgewater State College. We ask that you review the following information before filling out the online request form.
Our Bridgewater Guides are students interviewed and employed by the Office of Admission. The Bridgewater Guides lead each tour group, and in order to coordinate with these students, we need at least 2 weeks prior notice to arrange a group visit. If your group is smaller than ten people, it is possible to join the regularly scheduled tour time.
Due to our regularly scheduled tours, we do not have a set time for group visits. Rather, we try to schedule group visits around our tour guides' schedules while attempting to adhere to the times that you requested. Depending on the size of the group, there are several tour options available for a vist. On the standard group tour we typically visit a room in the freshmen residence hall, academic buildings, the library, campus center, recreation centers, bookstore and at least one dining hall.
All groups are encouraged to highlight any special interests or departments they may want information from. If there is an interest in visiting other areas of campus please indicate that on the request form, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Before the date of your visit, you should receive a confirmation and we ask for a simple reply back via e-mail or a phone call.
We ask that the students be prepared with questions and have had an explanation of proper behavior while attending a college campus. Our tour guides, professional staff and campus community expect that disciplinary issues will be addressed by chaperones. We require one chaperone present for every ten students.
We look forward to hosting your group! Please fill out the online form and the Admission Office will be contacting you shortly to schedule your visit.
