Mission and Goal

Mission Statement
Founded in 1990, the Bridgewater State College's Afro-American Alumni Association assists and supports minority students who attend Bridgewater State College. As a student driven organization, the Afro-American Alumni Association draws on an integrated array of knowledge and experience to develop solutions that contribute to the students' success.

 
Goal
Afro-American Alumni's goal is to be a quality organization for our students, our faculty, and the society in which we live. As an organization, we place a high priority on innovation, reliability and service. In addition, it is our hope to encourage all minority students to enter and graduate from Bridgewater State College, and wish that all minority students take pride in Bridgewater State College, Afro-American Alumni Association and themselves. We recognize the struggle to succeed at BSC and will reward the contributions of individuals who play a role in the development of Afro-American Alumni Association.
