The Athletic Hall of Fame

This event is held every other year as part of Homecoming Weekend to honor former student athletes and those who have made significant contributions to athletics at Bridgewater State College. 

ELIGIBILITY

Student athletes shall be eligible beginning five (5) years after receiving their undergraduate degree from Bridgewater State College.

Eligibility for a non-alumna/us shall begin two (2) years after service to the athletic program has ended.

College personnel (coaches, faculty, and athletic staff) presently employed at Bridgewater State College who have completed a minimum of five (5) years of Service to Bridgewater State College Athletics.

Present Hall of Fame Committee members are eligible for nomination.

QUALIFICATIONS

Eligibility based primarily on the athletic prowess of the individual shall also include consideration of personal integrity, high standards of sportsmanship and good character.

Individuals may be chosen on the basis of outstanding contributions to the Bridgewater State College Athletic program.

A maximum of eight (8) new members may be elected every two years.
Of the possible eight new members, only two (2) new members may be elected from present College personnel every two years.
