Mackie Glashow (Gymnastics Teacher) is currently a student at New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire, where she is pursuing a major in biology. At school, she is a member of the honors program and also serves as a student ambassador. She is currently running a Relay For Life event at NEC and is the music chair at the school. She has been an active gymnast for the past seventeen years, and her gymnastics passion and abilities have afforded her the opportunity to travel to many different competitions, including her most recent one in Virginia Beach, VA (in 2009) where she competed on a national level. Mackie is an ardent admirer of the “Kidnastics” approach to gymnastics, where skills are built alongside a myriad of creative movement choices and problem-solving challenges, and is looking forward to working with all of the young gymnasts at Arts for Youth this summer!
