Bridgewater State University's Arts for Youth

Leah Nelson

Leah Nelson is returning for her fourth year as an Arts for Youth staff member. She will be teaching the Scrapbooking class, designing and teaching visual arts workshops, and will also be assisting with the morning and afternoon child care program. Before joining the staff, Leah spent three years in the Arts for Teens program, participating in a total of six shows. Leah attends the University of Connecticut with a major in Human Development and Family Studies, hoping to pursue a career in community counseling. She has taken five years of voice lessons and played one of the lead roles in her high school musical before graduating. With a strong passion for the arts, Leah is looking forward to another summer with Arts for Youth, and can’t wait to see some old faces as well as many new ones.
