* Courses in bold are addition of courses (or those being renumbered) into the existing minor.
* First and second year seminars relating to Asia may be petitioned to be substituted for an Asian studies minor course. Study tours to Asia offered in history, art history, sociology, theater, geography, and management departments vary in special numbers. Courses taken from exchange institutions can be counted for up to half of the residency, i.e. 3 out of 6 minor requirements.
