Help » Today's Posts : Archive : Personal Archive : Posting a Message
Your personal archives are organized in three ways: first by month, then by day of the month, then by category. This organization is meant to help find messages in your archive faster. Your messages are shown just as their subjects, which you can click to view the entire message. Sometimes, there will be special status flags next to your message (described below).
When you submit a message to Community Announcements, before it is shown, it must be approved by moderators first. Messages that have not yet been approved, but are also not declined, get an 'In Posting Queue' flag.
If a message you submit is declined, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of such an event. You will also notice that any messages that have been declined have a 'Posting Denied' flag next to them. A denied message will have to be either edited or deleted.
If you have designated a message to be displayed on later date, and your message has been approved, it receives a 'Delayed' flag. Your message will also show up under the date it is supposed to be e-mailed and show up on Community Announcements.
If you click on one of your message subjects from the Personal Archives, you can see your entire message. At the very bottom, depennding on certain conditions, you may see 'Edit' and 'Delete' buttons. You may edit a message before it has been approved, or after it has been declined; however, once the message has been viewed publicly, it can not be edited. Your message may be deleted at any time up to 30 days. After 30 days, your message will be removed from public view, and placed permanently only in your personal archives (which means it can not be deleted or edited).
At the bottom of the Personal Archives page, is a navigation for previous months. By clicking on them, you can go back and forward through your monthly messages.
