Certain research is conducted in the biology department that students can be a part of upon request and authorization of particular faculty and staff members. In recent years the biology department has been involved in multiple studies and research projects involving students and other faculty members. These projects can be useful to students for their major in biology. Also involvement in the biology department can serve as a method of aiding students with particular classes.
