Definition A Curriculum Leadership Center Innovative Curriculum Mini Grant Project supports a project or unique learning situation that is developed and implemented by teachers. It must be educationally beneficial, innovative, exciting and worthy of being recognized and recommended for use by others.
|
1. The applicants must be teaching full time in a CLC member school district.
2. The project must focus on a significant, innovative practical idea to enrich curriculum, enhance instruction, and/or address authentic assessment, which will directly benefit students.
3. Personnel costs are NOT an approved expense of the requested grant budget.
4. Upon completion of the project, award recipients may be asked to share information with CLC members during the academic year.
5. Grant awards will range from $150.00 - $1,000.00. The total cost of the project must not exceed $1000 and matching funds may not be used to supplement the project.
6. Selected projects are expected to be implemented during the 2009-2010 school year.
7. All applications will be scored according the CLC Innovative Curriculum Rubric.

GRANT APPLICATION |
1. Complete the enclosed application and budget narrative in entirety, including appropriate signatures.
2. Include a clear description for the proposed project, including student experiences and outcomes, and supplies/equipment to be used.
3. The CLC Grant Selection Committee must receive applications no later than February 16, 2009. Applications should be mailed to: CLC Grant Selection Committee, c/o Mary Price, Maxwell Library 102, Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater, MA 02325
