Student workers are an essential part of the success of the Campus Center and Conference and Event Services offices. We provide a great job experience, and give students responsibilities as Center Managers, Information Center Attendants, Commuter Assistants, Office Assistants, Game Room Attendants, Print Shop Attendants, Conference/Events Event Planners, Conference/Events Service Managers, Office Assistants, and Student Production Assistants (Auditorium). Bridgewater State College students looking for on-campus jobs should check first with the Student Employment Office in Boyden Hall room 101, open Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. You need to have an application on file with them before you can be hired for any campus job.

Center Managers and Conference Operations Crew: sets up tables, chairs, staging, AV and other equipment.  Also Center Managers manage operations the Campus Center during the day, providing access to rooms and support for events.

Commuter Assistant: provide assistance to commuter students, working for the Commuter Services Coordinator in Technology/Web Services, Marketing and Outreach, or Programs and Services.

Office Assistant: receptionist and office support work for the Commuter Services Coordinator, Commuter Student Center, Conference and Event Services Office, and Office of Student Involvement and Leadership.

Game Room Attendant: oversees equipment for pool tables, ping-pong, darts, foosball.

Information Center: receptionist, customer service, telephone and in-person assistance to campus visitors.

Event Planner : plans campus events and provides customer service for meetings and conferences sponsored by student, academic, administrative, and external groups, and major college events.

Event Services Manager: Provide on-site coverage for campus programs and events. Serve as office representative for programs by completing pre-event preparation, greeting event sponsors, attending to last minute changes and seeing events to conclusion. Assist sponsors with trouble-shooting. Work with other campus departments as needed to facilitate program changes. Participate in scheduling meetings and program review meetings. Assist full-time staff with coordinating and managing larger campus events. Attend training sessions and weekly meetings as required.

Computer Lab Attendant: tech support to students using the Campus Center computer lab.

Print Shop Attendant: operate copiers, laminators, folding machines, and manage print jobs from students, faculty, and staff.

Graphic Artist/Print Shop: create posters, brochures, and other print jobs using computer graphic software.

Reservations Assistant: assists the Conference and Event Services Office Reservationist with processing requests for space for college meetings and events.

Stage Crew/Light & Sound Tech: build and setup equipment for lectures, conferences, performances, and theatrical productions.
