Canadian Studies Minor

Program

In recognition of the importance of Canada as an area for teaching and scholarly research, Bridgewater State College established a Canadian Studies Program in 1973. One of the first in the United States, the Program offers students the opportunity to earn a Minor in Canadian Studies. Classes are available in the following disciplines:  
  • Anthropology, Biology, Criminal Justice
  • Economics, English, French,
  • Geography, History, and Sociology

   An interdisciplinary course, Introduction to Canadian Studies, is offered each semester.

Minor Requirements

A. Core courses:

     2.  Three courses with at least one from each area:
