Career Services Wishes You a Safe, Fun and Productive Summer!
Congratulations to all students on the completion of a successful school year! A special note of congratulations to all of our 2012 graduates...we are very proud of your successes!
Remember that Career Services is open all summer to assist students and our recent alumni with everything from what to do with your major to job search advice. We also encourage our Class of 2013 to get in over the summer to start planning for their job searches or graduate school applications. Ask any senior and they will tell you time goes quickly, so use the summer to get a jumpstart! Call our office at 508-531-1328 to setup an appointment.

The Tinsley Public Service Award in the amount of $2000 is available. The award will be granted to a qualifying junior or senior who secures and completes an unpaid credit-bearing internship for summer 2012. All majors are eligible, with preference given to students with a demonstrated interest in public service, non-profit, government, social service or educational setting. Applications must be submitted by May 1, 2012.
Experiential Learning Expo, (ELE) -
Recap
The BSU Community was out and about on East Campus on Monday, April
23rd. Three events: The Undergraduate Research Symposium, the ELE and the
Festival of the Arts joined together to host this first ever "One Day of Engaged
Student Learning". It was a very successful set of events. Opening
Remarks were given by Dr. Howard London, Provost & Vice President for Academic
Affairs, 45 summer research students were introduced along w/ their faculty
mentors and Dr. David O'Malley, Assistant Professor from the Social Work
Department, spoke to a well attended audience about the ELE and the Festival of
the Arts. The ELE had 54 student participants including 10 panel presentations
moderated by administrators and/or faculty and 17 professional posters displayed
in the Moakley Atrium. Many thanks to Dr. Jenny Shanahan, Director of OUR, and
her staff for making this day a great success.
