BSC students majoring in Management & Recreation can seek a credited internship from Walt Disney World in Florida if they receive prior approval from their academic department's faculty internship supervisor.

The faculty members are as follows:
Management: Professor Mercer Fellouris
Recreation: Professor Tom Quimby

These are the only two majors that provide credit for the Disney internship. Although Disney is not recruiting on the Bridgewater campus, students in these majors who are approved for credit can interview with Disney at one of the area schools/locations. 

Bridgewater State College is no longer sponsoring non-credit recognition with the Disney program. This means that unless you are a Management or a Recreation major and have been approved for credit by your academic department's faculty internship supervisor, you are not eligible to participate.  (This practice has been in effect since Fall 2001)

We no longer allow students to participate in this program for "recognition" by taking a leave of absence from the college.
