On Campus Interviews (OCI)
One of the
college's most popular employer service programs,
On-Campus Interviewing, connects top-notch candidates with employers
interested in enhancing their campus visibility. We manage all aspects of
your visit from coordinating an interview date, collecting resumes for your
review and scheduling your on-campus interviews. Interviews are conducted
on-campus during the fall and spring semesters each year. We encourage you
to visit Bridgewater State College and meet with students first hand.
Resume Referral Program (RRP)
Career Services can provide employers with
students; resumes that match specific job descriptions and/or majors sought.
This free service allows employers access to a pool of qualified candidates in a
quick, concentrated manner.
Employer In Residence
Employers volunteer time and expertise to educate Bridgewater State College
students regarding the world of professional employment and career management
through individual resume critiques and career focused workshops.

Work 'N' Serve Expo
Co-sponsored by Career Services and the Community Service Center, the Work 'N'
Serve Expo is a great way for employers to meet a large number of candidates
looking for full-time professional positions, internships, community service or
volunteer opportunities. Held each fall, the Work 'N' Serve Expo is open
to all Bridgewater State College students, alumni and community members.
Gearing Up for the Education Job Market
Gearing Up for the Education Job Market event provides a unique
opportunity for hiring personnel from public school districts in Southeastern
Massachusetts to meet and network with top teacher candidates from
Bridgewater State College and other area colleges and universities. This
event traditionally brings together hiring personnel from over 40 school districts
with more than 300 students and alumni in attendance.
Annual Job Fair
The Annual Job Fair, held each spring, is a great way for employers to meet a
large number of potential candidates looking for full-time, professional-level
positions. Career Services provides a comprehensive marketing effort for
the Job Fair so that employers can expect to see hundreds of candidates.
this event is open to all Bridgewater State College students, alumni and the
community.
Mock Interview Program
The Mock Interview Program is a great way for employers to connect with
students. Students are given the opportunity to practice their interview
skills and to obtain advice from the people who actually do the hiring in
organizations and businesses.
Internship Program
Bridgewater State College students are eager to gain practical work
experience, develop new skills, network and apply classroom theory in a
professional setting. Each year, more than 400 students take part in
internships, both credit and non-credit. The benefits are numerous for
interns and employers alike.
As an intern employer, you will gain access to skilled, well-educated and highly motivated students with fresh ideas and perspectives. Interns provide inexpensive assistance to an organization and can release full-time employees from tasks more appropriately suited for individuals preparing for entry-level positions.
