Workshop Request Form

Interested in having Career Services present an interactive workshop for your class, organization, residence hall, program or event?  A brief description of each of the workshops is listed below.

Available Topics:

  • Intro to Career Services
    Find out what Career Services has to offer any class or any major.

  • Choosing a Major
    Learn about yourself and how to research a major and careers.

  • Cover Letter
    Learn how write an effective cover letter that showcases your skills and talents to an employer.

  • Developing an Internship
    Get the scoop on how and why you should be adding internship experience to your resume.

  • Dress for Success
    How is your fashion sense? You only have one chance to make a positive first impression, learn how to look your best.

  • Graduate School Planning
    Learn how to research schools, navigate the admissions process including test preparation, writing your essay and more.

  • Effective Interviewing
    Are you ready to sell yourself in an interview? Learn about the interviewing process, common questions asked and tips to help you interview with confidence.

  • Resume Writing
    Learn how to sell your experience and qualifications to potential employers. Learn resume guidelines to help jump start your career.

Please complete and submit the following Workshop Request Form to schedule a workshop for your group.

  • Workshops are 50 minutes in length

  • Please allow two weeks advance notice when selecting your program date

  • A minimum of 10 participants is requested

  • Workshops may be scheduled Monday  - Thursday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
