This course will focus on MesoAmerican art and architecture from the Olmec to the Aztec. ARTS 403 Advanced Web Art (3 credits) (New)*

Prerequisite: ARTS 367
This is a project based web art course that focuses on web innovation and net vision. Students will work in an innovative/critical manner, generating projects based on conceptual and political implications of information control systems. Projects may address but are not limited to issues of identity, privacy, autonomy, and dehumanization. Technically, the approach can range from XHTML to action scripting techniques.
