Message from the Dean

On behalf of the staff and graduate faculty, I would like to welcome you to the College of Graduate Studies at Bridgewater State University. This website will serve as an excellent resource for you throughout your graduate student experience, answering many of your questions and providing details. It also provides a comprehensive listing of all graduate degree and licensure programs as well as particulars on the financial aid process, student accounts and international enrollment. You will find useful information on many of the services available to you on the BSU campus including health services, technology, the Connect Card, library resources, parking and career services. There are web pages on graduate assistantships and graduate research assistantships, the grading system and the College of Graduate Studies' academic integrity policy.

While this website will prove to be a valuable resource for you, the most important source of information regarding your individual program is your academic adviser who has intimate knowledge of departmental degree requirements and will provide valuable guidance and direction. Graduate students are not required to submit an adviser's signature on their registration forms, but are encouraged to consult their adviser several times each semester. Please contact the College of Graduate Studies or your adviser with any questions you may have. We are confident that you will find your graduate studies here at Bridgewater State University rewarding and enriching, and my staff and I are here to support you to reach your academic and professional goals.
