Good Neighbors Day 5K Fun Run & Walk Fundraiser

Monday, August 30 - 9:00am-12:00pm, Tinsley Athletic Center

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Bridgewater Business Association's Charity Fund, The Table at St. Paul's in Brockton, Old Colony YMCA's Big Sister Big Brother in Brockton and the Boys and Girls Club in Brockton.

The scenic course for the Good Neighbors Day Fun Run & Walk Fundraiser will take you through the beautiful campus of Bridgewater State University.
When: Monday, August 30, 2010 - Rain or Shine!!!
  • 9am - Registration/Check In
  • 10am - 5K Start
  • Snacks following the race

Why: "Good Neighbors Day" is an annual day of service which marks the beginning of the school year as new students volunteer alongside returning students, faculty and staff to lend a hand in local neighborhoods. Bridgewater State University community members volunteer for a wide variety of agencies, demonstrating a willingness to help those in need and taking time to reflect on what it means to be a "good neighbor".

This year, the Community Service Center will hold its Inaugural 5K Fun Run & Walk Fundraiser in which proceeds will benefit local charities in the Town of Bridgewater and in the City of Brockton.
