Event Planning Process for BSC Sponsors


How do I make a reservation?

  • Visit the Conference and Event Services Office website at: www.bridgew.edu/conferences.

  • Click on the Event Reservation Request link.

  • Fill in the appropriate information and click submit.

 

What happens after my request is submitted?

  • The request is received by our Reservationist.

  • The Reservationist checks to see if the space/time requested is available.

  • For simple meetings (those requiring no services or set-up) the Reservationist holds space and sends requestor a confirmation of the space via email.

  • For meetings/events requiring services, the Reservationist places a hold on the space and sends a TENTATIVE space hold report back to requestor. The event is then assigned to a Coordinator and all arrangements for services for the event are made through the assigned Coordinator.  The assigned Coordinator will send requestor a CONFIRMED report after all services have been arranged.

 

How do I make changes to or cancel my event?

  • For simple meetings (those requiring no services or set-up) changes should be made by contacting the Reservationist.

  • For meetings/events where a Coordinator has been assigned, all changes should be made through the Coordinator.

  • All cancellations must be received in writing.  For simple meetings this can be done through the Reservationist.  For all other events, the cancellations should be done directly through the assigned Coordinator.
