Building Specific Information


Please note: the hours listed below are "standard" hours while classes are in session.  Hours may change during winter/spring breaks and summer time, please contact your CESO coordinator for updated building times before planning an event.

 

Art Building

  • 7:30 am-10:00 pm Monday-Thursday  7:30 am -4:00 pm Friday.  Closed Saturday and Sunday.
  • Generally used only for art classes.  Use of art space must be approved by the Art Department. 
  • The Art Gallery is used for art openings and receptions.  They have their own reception tables that they set up for food service.  Maintainers are not typically required for art receptions.

 Boyden

  • 7:30am-11:00pm M-TH, 7:00am-6:00pm Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
  • Mostly used for classes. 
  • Horace Mann Auditorium used by music classes until 6:00pm.  After 6:30pm priority is given to events.  Horace Mann requires a detail for Saturday & Sunday use as well as for large events. 
  • Executive Conference Room may only be reserved through the President's Office.

 Burnell Hall

  • 7:30am-10:30 pm M-TH, 7:30am-6:00pm Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
  • Weekend use requires an overtime maintainer.  Spaces include classrooms, a gymnasium and cafeteria.

 Burril Office Complex

  • 7:00am-10:00pm M-TH, 7:00am-7:00pm Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
  • Weekend use requires an overtime maintainer.  Spaces include classrooms, a gymnasium and cafeteria.

 Crimson Hall (Dunn Conference Suite)

  • 11:00am-11:00pm M-W, 11:00 am-12:00 midnight Thursday-Friday, 2:00pm-12midnight Saturday, 2:00pm-11pm Sunday.
  • This space is locked 24/7 and requires access through CESO coordinator. An overtime maintainer is required for hours outside of those listed or for larger events.  Spaces include Dunn A, Dunn B or a combination of Dunn A and Dunn B.

 Davis Alumni Center

  • 8:00 am-5:00 pm M-F.
  • Living Room and Dining Room.  Kitchen off of Dining Room area can be used.
  • Spaces are reserved through the Center staff.

 East Campus Commons

  • 7:00am-10:30pm M-TH, 7:00am-8:00pm Friday, 8:00am-7:00pm Saturday and 10:00am-7:00pm Sunday.
  • During breaks hours vary.
  • When an event is scheduled outside of operating hours, a detail is required. 
  • The Executive Dining Room (ECC113), South (ECC112) and West (ECC109) are available by reservation only at all times, with preference given to events with food service.  North (ECC111) and East (ECC108) are only available after 7:00 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.  Main (ECC110) is available with approval after 7pm on weekdays and weekends.  All rooms are available for booking when classes are not in session.

 Gates House

  • 8:30 am-5:00 pm M-F.
  • Admissions Office.

 Harrington

  • 7:30am-10:30pm M-TH, 7:30am-6:00pm Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
  • Classrooms, computer labs and one conference room.  Use of the conference room must be scheduled through the School of Management and Aviation Science.

 Hart Hall

  • 7:30am-10:30pm M-TH, 7:30am-6:00pm Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm Saturday and 10:00am-4:00pm Sunday.
  • Classrooms and computer labs. 
  • Connected to Burnell School and the Moakley Center.

 Hunt Hall

  • 7:30am-10:30pm M-TH, 7:30am-5:00pm Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
  • Classrooms and the Parking/Connect Card offices.

 Kelly Gym

  • 7:30am-10:30pm M-TH, 7:30am-6:00pm Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
  • Large & Small Gym.  Classrooms.  Pool and locker rooms.
  • Classes take priority until 6:00 pm.  After 6:00 pm spaces can be used for events with the approval of Athletics while classes are in session.
  • During breaks and in the summer, scheduling of gym spaces is at the discretion of the Conference and Event Services office.

 Maxwell Library

  • 7:45am-11:45pm M-TH, 7:45am-5:00pm Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm Saturday and 12:00 noon -11:45pm Sunday.
  • Classrooms, Library Lecture Hall, ITSS Call Center, the Heritage Room and the Martha Denison Rondileau Room.
  • Ground floor rooms may be used when Library is closed.  Requires maintainer and connect card door activation.
  • Heritage/MDR may be used when Library is closed.  Requires connect card door activation.  May require maintainer.

Moakley Center

  • Fall/Spring Semesters:  7:30am-11:00pm M-TH,  7:30am-5:00pm Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Saturday, 10:00am-11:00pm Sunday.
  • Classrooms.  Open Access Lab (open same hours as building hours).  Moakley Auditorium.  Computer Labs.  Conference Rooms.  TV Studio.
  • MKC 100, 135, 213 and 300 are exclusively for event use.  May be scheduled for special class sessions only.

 Operations Center

  • 7:30 am-5:00 pm M-F.
  • Facilities, Facilities Management and Planning, BSC Police.

 Rondileau Campus Center

  • 7:30am-11:00pm M-F, 7:45am-11:00pm Saturday, 1:00pm-11:00pm Sunday.
  • The building is staffed by a building manager after 4:00 pm and on weekends. Any use of the building outside of normal operating hours requires the hiring of an hourly building manager at the expense of the sponsoring organization. 
  • Music department spaces within the building can be used with the department's approval. 
  • The Auditorium is booked with the approval of the Auditorium Technical Director.

 Science Building

  • 7:30am-10:30pm M-TH, 7:30am-6:00pm Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday .
  • Classrooms.  Science Labs.  Photography and Aviation Simulator Labs.  Science Lecture Hall
  • Use of all labs requires approval of corresponding Science department.

Summer Street House

  • 8:00am-5:00pm M-F.
  • Facilities, Facilities Management and Planning, BSC Police.

Tillinghast

  • 7:00am-7:00pm M-F, 7:15am-6:15pm Saturday, 7:00am-6:15pm Sunday.
  • Flynn Dining Commons may be used for reservations only during breaks.  Use of space on weekends requires maintainer detail.
  • CESO handles setups and resets for events.  Sodexho responsible for cleaning within the dining room.  Facilities manages cleaning of hallways and restrooms.

Tinsley Center

  • 6:00am-11:00pm M-TH, 6:00am-7:00pm Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm Saturday, 12:00noon-11:00pm Sunday.
  • Gymnasium courts.  Fitness Center. Classrooms.  Locker Rooms.  Equipment room.
  • Use of the facility outside of normal operating hours requires maintainers and ATC building managers.
  • Use of the fitness center outside normal operating hours may require additional certified fitness center staff in addition to maintainers and ATC building managers.
  • Any event using athletic equipment can retrieve the items from the equipment room.  All items must be returned to the room at the close of the program.
