lots are designated for vehicles with valid
upper-class resident parking permits.
Resident Students are not permitted to park
in Commuter or Faculty/Staff lots after 4

residents may park outside of their
designated lots.
Visitor Parking
Parking for all other visitors is available
in the Moakley Center and Chapel lots. For
events on East Campus with larger parking
needs, the Lower Great Hill and Tower lots
may be used as overflow locations. Parking
for Conferences and Events is arranged
through CESO. CESO staff complete a Parking
Services Request form and submit
the completed form to the Parking Office.
Hang tags are provided only upon request and
are sent to the CESO event coordinator.
Parking for a group or individual visitors
not associated with an event reservation (ie:
meeting in a departmental office) is made by
the campus department directly with the
Parking Office.
Overnight visitor parking is permitted from
Sunday evening through Thursday evening. A
temporary parking pass is required. On
weekends from 4 p.m. Friday through 6 p.m.
Sunday parking is permitted in all commuter,
resident and faculty/staff lots without a
parking decal or temporary pass.
Summer Sessions
During the summer months parking regulations
are in effect, therefore parking decals are
required and commuters are not allowed to
park in Faculty/Staff lots until after 4 pm.
Parking for overnight summer conference
guests must be coordinated with the Parking
office. Attendees may be required to have
hangtags.
Parking Signs
A limited number of parking signs are
available (weather permitting) to direct
guests to campus. All parking sign requests
go through the CESO Event Coordinator
working on the corresponding event. There is
a $6.00 per sign fee for each parking sign
and parking signs may be shared by two
groups due to high demand. The $6.00 fee
applies to each sign per group, whether
shared or not. The cost of the signs
increase to $10.00 per sign if they are to
be put out before 8:00am, taken in after
6:00pm Monday through Friday, or if used
anytime during the weekend. The exact
locations of parking sign placement is at
the discretion of CESO and are predominately
limited to campus property. Parking signs
cannot be left outside overnight.
Parking Hang Tags
For the fall semester and winter break, pink
hangtags are in use. For the spring and
summer, yellow hangtags are in use. At the
end of winter break, the Parking Office will
collect any pink hangtags and provide
relevant offices with yellow hangtags. At
the end of summer, the Parking Office will
collect any remaining yellow tags and
provide relevant offices with pink hangtags.
