FYI
  • Students who entered BSC in the fall of 2006 or later as first time students MUST follow the Core Curriculum.
  • Transfer students who were new to BSC in fall 2006 or later are required to follow the Core.
  • Returning BSC students will initially be placed under the Core Curriculum, HOWEVER, they may select an earlier catalog, no more than 8 years old, & the catalog must have been in effect when the student enrolled at BSC. Use the Request to Change Catalog Year form to make that change.
  • For a continuing student who is changing or declaring a major, using the “What If Analysis” under the degree audit function is helpful in determining whether to follow the Core or GER curriculum.
  • All students must follow the requirements of a single catalog.
