Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE)
The CPCE is offered at Bridgewater State University as one of the capstone experience options for the students matriculated in the Masters programs in the Department of Counselor Education. BSU students should contact their academic advisor and must complete the CPCE Request Form located on the Counselor Education Central VC Blackboard site by the deadlines noted.
The CPCE is open to any student from a CACREP accredited program to take. Non-BSU students see below for specific directions to register for the exam.
The fee for the CPCE is set by the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE). Please note the fee is different for BSU students and students who take the exam at a different site than the institution where they are completing their program. See the Exam Request that is appropriate form for the current fee. Payment is accepted by either money order or check. Checks should be made payable to the Center for Credentialing and Education.
