Criminal Justice Student Organization

It is the mission of the Criminal Justice Student Organization (CJSO) to plan events and provide activities that will further our exploration, experience, and understanding of the world of criminal justice. As a student organization we will also strive to contribute to local communities, neighborhoods, civic groups and criminal justice stakeholders by participating in meaningful and positive activities that are crime preventative in nature. This organization seeks to inspire students, provide opportunities to strengthen their skills, build confidence, develop social networks, and give them an opportunity to make a real difference. The CJSO gives students an opportunity to go beyond the textbooks and touch lives.

CJSO  Meeting:

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday October 30, 2012. Please note that there has been a room change. We will no longer be meeting in Library Room 216! Our new location is going to be in Conant Science Building room 440. The reason for the change is to allow our guest speakers more time to speak to us rather than just an hour. The time however has not changed and the meetings will still begin at 5:00pm. Although we have extended the time an extra 30 minutes, so we are able to have the room until 6:30pm. At this meeting we will listen to Dr. Petrosino talk to us about career options. We will also go over some of our upcoming events and guest speakers. If there are any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Again our new meeting room and time will be:

When: Tuesday October 30, 2012

Where: Conant Science Building Room 440

Time: 5:00 pm- 6:30 pm
