The Joint Degree Program

Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in Criminal Justice

The Criminal Justice program offers undergraduate students an opportunity to earn both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in criminal justice with an additional year of full-time study.
 

Admission/Eligibility requirements:

Criminal justice majors who have earned at least 90 credits may apply to the joint degree program. To be unconditionally accepted into the program,

  1. Students must have achieved a BSC-earned GPA of 2.75 in their combined non major courses;
  2. Students must have achieved a BSC-earned GPA of 3.3 from their combined major courses;
  3. A composite score of 1000 (quantitative and verbal) on the GRE;
  4. Three appropriate letters of recommendation.

Conditional acceptance may be obtained under the following requirements:

  1. Students must have achieved a BSC-earned GPA of 2.5 in their combined non major courses;
  2. Students must have achieved a BSC-earned GPA of 3.0 from their combined major courses;
  3. A composite score of 700-999 (quantitative and verbal) on the GRE;
  4. Three appropriate letters of recommendation.
