Dr. Vernon Domingo - EarthView Coordinator

Dr. Domingo is a geographer at Bridgewater State College where he teaches human and physical geography with a regional focus on Africa. He is the co-coordinator of the Massachusetts Geographic Alliance and is a frequent presenter of in-service professional development programs for teachers in Massachusetts. He is also director of the Southeast Massachusetts Global Education Center, a teacher resource project that aims to enhance global perspectives in our schools.

Dr. James Hayes-Bohanan is an environmental and cultural geographer specializing in Latin America. During his twelve years at Bridgewater State College, he has enjoyed teaching geography to students in the classroom, on Cape Cod, in Vermont, and on study-abroad programs in Nicaragua, Cape Verde, Brazil and Cuba. The father of a sixth grader, he enjoys traveling to schools with EarthView nearly every week.

Natalie Regan - EarthView Wrangler

Natalie Regan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Geography at Bridgewater State College. Originally she planned to study Management, but quickly discovered that Geography was a better fit for her career goals. She is interested in many aspects within the field, including political and environmental geography, and geographic information systems.

Laura Smith - EarthView Administrator

Laura Smith is part of the External Affairs Division at Bridgewater State College, assisting faculty members with project coordination. Working in the division‘s Institute for Regional Development, she facilitates connections between various other college departments and the surrounding region. Laura is responsible for scheduling EarthView and for the EarthView team‘s communications with schools.

Originally from South Carolina, Laura received her bachelor‘s degree from the University of South Carolina in 2002 and has worked at Bridgewater State College since January, 2008.

Rosalie V. Sokol - EarthView Globelady

Rosalie Sokol is a geography teacher/consultant for the Massachusetts Geographic Alliance and the Public Engagement Coordinator for MyWonderfulWorld.org, an initiative of the National Geographic Society, created to increase the geographic literacy of American students. She is a retired geography teacher from the Tantasqua Regional School District in Sturbridge, MA. Currently she is the EarthView "Globelady" who teaches lessons about our world inside EarthView.
