Personal Statement
As a member of the writing faculty in the English Department and the Writing
Program Administrator, I can answer any questions you might have about the
Writing Concentration offered as part of the English major. In addition, I also
serve as the faculty internship supervisor for the department. Be in touch with
me to talk about possible internships that count for credit towards
graduation(many are paid as well). You have more options than you think.
Finally, for more information about the kinds of classes I teach and the way
that I teach them, please visit my website at the link listed on this page. There
you'll find lots of information about the kinds of writing and reading students
do with me. Don't let it make you nervous: it takes a whole semester to get
through everything. Also on that page: you'll find links to other
reading/writing opportunities available to you in the English Department and
around campus. I hope to hear from you.
