International Conference for Teaching and Learning

The 28-30 July 2009 conference brought together educators from many countries and cultures for the shared exploration of teaching and learning with theoretical underpinnings in systemic change and reform. Participants examined a range of pedagogical applications like the Systemic Approach to Teaching and Learning (SATL) that address local and global issues in educating students for the 21st century.

This conference was a platform for understanding and enriching education for preparation of global citizens who are able to deal with global challenges and for community building. To that end, educators and researchers at all levels were invited to share vital knowledge and strategies for teaching and learning in culturally responsive ways.
