Consul General of Japan in Boston

His Excellency Takeshi Hikihara, Consul General of Japan in Boston, during a visit to Bridgewater State University addressed a capacity audience in the Moakley Center auditorium on the subject, "Japan after the earthquake and Japan-U.S. relationships." (more)

 

 

Bahrain Ambassador

Houda Nonoo, Bahrain's first female ambassador to the United States, discussed the importance of international ties and fielded questions from audience members during a visit to Bridgewater State University hosted by the Middle Eastern Studies program. (more)


Vietnam Ambassador

November 2009

The ambassador's talk, "Vietnam - U.S. Relations and Vietnamese Education," was delivered to faculty, staff and students in the Dunn Conference Suite at BSC. He discussed the past animosity between the U.S. and Vietnam - illuminated by the Vietnam War - and how the two countries have recently worked together to overcome their differences. (more)


Iraq Ambassador

The college's Middle East Studies Program sponsored a lecture by His Excellency, Samir Sumaida'ie, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United States in Washington, D.C. The topic of the lecture was "Shedding Lights on Iraq Today and its Relationships with the U.S. and Regional Powers." (more)
