I joined the Bridgewater State College faculty in 2005. I was teaching at Castleton State College for three years prior to 2005. I earned my PhD degree at the University of Minnesota, my Masters degree at the George Washington University and my BA at Emory University. My undergraduate courses include Socio-Cultural Foundations of Sport, Women in Sport, Introduction to Sport Management and Philosophical Foundations of Sport. I am interested in helping students think critically about sport and physical activity. I joined the Faculty Advisory Network as a way to help form community among faculty on the Bridgewater State College campus. I have enjoyed and benefited from phenomenal informal mentorship throughout my career. |
My interest in networking with other faculty is to help facilitate relationships that can be highly valuable for faculty at all stages of their careers. When I am not in my office, you might find me kayaking, reading, playing ice hockey, walking my dog, or walking to East Campus Commons for coffee and cookies. I am happy to meet with new faculty or more experienced faculty for coffee anytime!
