Faculty Advocate Network Mission Statement

 

The Mission of the Faculty Advocacy Network (FAN) is to provide one-on-one collaborative and group support to Bridgewater State College faculty at all phases of their careers. Through networking and partnerships, FAN offers faculty guidance and practical assistance with short-term and long-term goal setting and balancing teaching, research, and service with personal life. 

 

FAN Objectives

• Offer support and guidance for short-term and long-term goal setting as related to professional faculty development

• Offer peer-to-peer networking to help faculty balance and manage commitments to teaching, scholarship, service with their personal life

• Connect faculty with campus-wide resources based upon their expressed interests

• Assist with the relocation and orientation of first-year faculty to BSC with the intent of promoting success
