Description: This renovation includes new servery and seating areas for the dining hall in Tillinghast Hall. The project also includes new food preparation/display areas, furniture and finishes appropriate to the building's historic period, creating a revitalized dining and event environment for the broader campus community.

Description: Facilities Management & Planning recently managed the summer renovation of a 10,000 square-foot single story commercial building directly adjacent to the New Bedford Airport, located at 1852 Shawmut Avenue, which is now the new home of the Bridgewater State College Flight Training Center. Some of the items upgraded during the renovation include interior painting, carpet, signage, lock replacement, window treatments, and classroom furniture. Both the offices of Telecommunications and Networking and I.T. Support Services were integrally involved in this exciting project.

Description: This renovation includes the upgrade and fit-out of six (6) general-purpose classrooms including standard Tier II Technology, furniture, paint, and carpet. In addition, two (2) other general-purpose classrooms will include enhanced teaching technology and more flexible furnishings. Central Ceilings, Inc. (Institutional Advancement, Room 208, Boyden Hall)Description: The Facilities Management and Planning Office moved from Room 208, Boyden Hall to the Operations Center. The administrative area located behind the customer service area was completely renovated including new offices, carpeting, and lighting. Also, Institutional Advancement moved from the Davis Alumni Center into Room 208, Boyden Hall. In preparation for this move, Room 208, Boyden Hall, underwent some renovations including a new office, painting, carpeting, and lighting.

Description: Interior renovation of the 4,000 square-foot, 485-seat auditorium within Boyden Hall. Renovations included new HVAC, electrical, seating, restoration of historical paint colors, wood work, and carpet; improvements to balcony including new wall work and ceilings/lighting; and improvements and expansion of the stage and stage batten structural support. Completely new lighting and audio/visual systems also included. This work was completed in September of 2008.

Description: During the summer of 2005, the 1st floor of the Maxwell Library was completely renovated. The 38,025 square-foot renovation included demolition of offices, classrooms, and the Circulation area. Some of the upgrades and architectural finishes included: custom maple Circulation, Reference desks, and wall paneling; and an acre of carpet with multiple accent features. Complementing the maple paneling and contrasting carpet are several cool paint colors highlighted by the new lighting patterns. All library periodicals, reference materials, etc. were removed from existing metal stacks, stored in the library while the stacks were electrostatically painted, placed into their final location, and restocked with library materials from over 300 temporary carts.

Description: In 2003, the Offices of Multicultural Affairs, Student Activities, along with the Program Committee, Greek Life, and Media relocated into the old bookstore space near the Summer Street entrance. This construction included new air conditioning, lighting, telecommunications, new conference room, offices, student work, and storage space.
Also in 2003, the ground floor space below the auditorium and lobby was renovated to provide expanded academic space for the Music Department. The build out included new practice rooms, one-on-one teaching rooms, band/small orchestra classroom, piano lab, general purpose classroom, and a resource library.
