As part of the division of Finance, this office oversees the areas responsible for accounts payable, general accounting, student accounts, the Perkins Loan office, and fiscal functions for Bridgewater State University.

Residency Policy On April 19, 2007, the Board of Higher Education adopted a new system-wide policy governing residency status for tuition classification purposes, i.e., whether a student can be eligible for in-state tuition at Massachusetts' public higher education institutions. This policy went into effect on July 1, 2007. The Office of Fiscal Affairs has updated BSU's in-state tuition eligibility form, instructions, and governing goals and guidelines to reflect this new system-wide policy.
