In celebration of LGBT History Month, the Athletics Department in collaboration with the GLBTA Pride Center are excited to present Dave Pallone.
Dave Pallone worked 18 years as a professional umpire; 10 of those years with the National Baseball League. As the third youngest umpire in baseball history, he demonstrated courage, professionalism and the ability to withstand adversity through many of baseball's high profile and controversial events. He is the author of the 1990 New York Time's best-selling autobiography, Behind the Mask: My Double Life in Baseball, which has been rereleased in recognition of it's 20th anniversary.

If you are faculty, please encourage your students to attend and perhaps consider offering extra credit to those who do. If you would like to bring students or a class with you, please contact Lisa Forest at 508-531-1408 or lisa.forest@bridgew.edu to reserve seats.

Private Dinner with Dave Pallone and Students
In addition to the plenary session, a select few students will be able to have dinner with Dave Pallone. Contact Jen Coutu (jcoutu@bridgew.edu) to reserve your seat and specify any dietary requirements. Attendance is limited to the first 20 students who respond.
