Juliana Horton is the Administrative Assistant to the Student Affairs Office and GLBTA Pride Center. She helps Lee with day to day department operations and works with the Pride Center student employees on their programming. Her hobbies are watching birds, exploring New England, and listening to music.

Ryan Baker |
Ryan is a junior working on getting her Bachelor's in Social Work. She hopes to work in counseling in the near future, likely after pursuing her M.S.W.. She is a strong student who is passionate about human rights and people over all. During her spare time, she loves to listen to music, watch movies (especially documentaries) and catch up with friends. She hopes to get involved in many aspects of student life here at Bridgewater and is excited to start her degree here.

Hi, my name is Gina Burns. I had been part of my high school GSA for all the years it ran and am a proud and supportive ally. I'm currently undecided but am looking to pursue a major in which I can help people because it's something I live to do. Corey is a sophomore majoring in Theatre Education. He is looking forward to another exciting year at the Pride Center! No stranger to the stage, Corey has been a part of numerous local and professional theatrical productions; performing, directing, and choreographing. He also performed his one man show, "I Hope I Get It: The Trial and Tribulations of the Actor at Large", to local rave reviews. His hobbies (beside performing) include cooking, social networking, and hanging out with friends.

Sara is a sophomore at BSU this year, and is currently majoring in English education, with the hope of one day teaching at the high school level. She's excited to return to the Pride Center for a second year, and can't wait to see what the semester brings! In addition to the Pride Center, Sara earns a living by singing at weddings and local churches. With any extra time she finds, Sara loves reading (especially Stephen King), writing (especially horror-packed prose), making and listening to music, and spending time with friends.

Hi there! My name is Patrick, or Pat, whichever works for you! I am currently a freshman here at Bridgewater State University and I am an undecided major. However, in my time I've spent here, I am now beginning to lean towards Communications or Social Work, because I have found I love to work with people. I enjoy spending my free time watching TV, reading, and being with my friends and family. I am also very passionate about volunteering - particularly as a coach for Special Olympics and as a Relay for Life participant. I truly believe in being kind to others and working hard every day to make each day a better one than the one before. Being a part of the GLBTA Pride Center has changed my outlook on life in the most positive way, and I'm so glad to be working with such a great group of students and faculty who are committed to what they do. Hi, my name is Julianna DeVasto and I'm a sophomore this year at BSU. I was a longtime member of the GSA in my hometown of Brockton and I'm an ally and proud! I am majoring in English with a minor in secondary education and my goal is to eventually become a teacher. I care deeply about making a positive impact on those around me and I'm glad to have the opportunity to do so. In my spare time I like to read, write, wander around, and hang out with friends. Hey y'all, I'm Henry and I am a sophomore transfer student from Texas, majoring in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Victimology. If there were a degree in environmental and animal protection activism, I'd be pursuing that! I'm excited to be working in the Pride Center, as it was one of the main things that drew me to BSU from all the way in Texas, and has turned out to be so much greater than I expected. In my free time I like to listen to music, watch films such as The Cove and Confessions of an Eco-Terrorist, watch full seasons of my favorite shows, hang out with friends, and do anything Halo-related.

Hi, my name is Ken Gomes. I come from Randolph and I am a senior at BSU. I am a social work major. I love the major and think it's an awesome profession. I started working at the Pride Center in 2009 and I have loved every single minute of it. I have made some great friends there and they have taught me a lot and made me a stronger person. I love reading and spending ridiculous amounts of time on the internet as well as playing video games. My goal in life right now is to graduate, find a job, and be a great social worker!

Hey folks my name is Tyler! I'm a junior here at BSU who is majoring in
Communication Studies while double minoring in Political
Science and GLBT Studies. I started working in the Pride Center Spring
semester 2012 and I also work as a Student Security Officer on campus. I
am the President of Transgender Advocacy Group (TAG) on campus this semester
in hopes to continue to make BSU a more trans-friendly environment.
I also am involved on the AWARE and RHA e-board. In
my spare time I like to kayak when it's good weather, sing in the
shower, and spend quality time with friends and family. I'm a very
outgoing person, so if you ever see me around campus don't hesitate to
say hey.

Kristina is a 5th year senior at BSU majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. She has her high school degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Kristina is extremely passionate about GLBT rights and is greatly involved with them in her home community as well as on campus. She commutes from her home town of Lynn where she lives with her fiancée Kimmie. In her free time she likes to play video games, create computer graphics on Photoshop, play guitar, and spend time with her friends.

My name is Shenaya Martin. I am better known as Nay. I am from Boston, MA. I am currently a senior majoring in Social Work. As a college student, I have learned to take advantage of many opportunities. Life is about building our experiences, so over the last three years, I have been involved in several organizations, services and events. I was the President of Sister Scholars for the 2011-2012 school year, I am a mentor for FAM (Friends and Mentoring) for Change, a mentor for LINKS and involved in lots more. I am a very devoted person with lots of ambition and perseverance. My character has been described as exquisite, alluring, commanding, and unique. I love to take my ideas and put them to action. I am striving to create many memories and to leave my name in history. My motive is that anything is possible, nothing is unstoppable, and our choices are the dimension of life.

My name is Daja Taylor and I am an incoming freshman
at BSU. I am a fan of the arts and I have worked as both a writer and a
painter. I aspire to be a journalist one day because I have always had a
passion for writing and providing others with information, so journalism
is right up my alley. The high school I attended actually didn't have a
GSA or anything of the sort. I look forward to working in the Pride
Center because it provides me with the opportunity to work in a safe
environment while helping others and spreading knowledge and awareness
of LGBT issues.

Hey my name is Kimberley Von Iderstein. I am an art major with a concentration in graphic design. I spent June-December of last year in Boston for school before I transferred out to Bridgewater State University. So far I really love it here. On my down time I enjoy going for walks, reading till my brain hurts and the words blur together and drawing when the urge strikes. Fun fact: I have a twin.
