Hormones and surgery for transgender students: Hormone prescriptions are available through Health Services and are covered by student insurance. Sex reassignment/Gender realignment surgery is not covered under the student health insurance plan.

BSU has recently adopted the policy to allow students to indicate a
preferred name wherever legal name is not required in certain places.

Single Occupant Restrooms (SOR)
Currently, BSU has 28 gender neutral single occupancy restrooms (GN SORs).
Additionally, BSU is committed to placing at least one GN SOR in every new and
renovated building.
