"My fascination for geography began back in high school with the management
plans we had to create for empty land areas around our city. Looking at the
environment and the way in which people used it was interesting to me. When I
moved from Australia to America, I began to realize just how small the world
really is, and how much geography is part of my life. To know about different
cultures, the people who embrace them and how the physical world plays a role
in their lifestyle is something I think more people should take the time to
learn about. Geography has helped me to do this and has been very rewarding." Suzanne LeBlanc, Senior and Vice President of the Geography Club |
