For many women at Bridgewater State College, one part of that life tapestry is the HERS women in higher education, program. Many women at the college have attended HERS and all of us have been intellectually challenged and personally motivated by the experience.

We are dedicated to expanding that tapestry at Bridgewater State College, by continuing to weave our individual threads and adding others interested in leadership. This website provides one of the threads, through links for women's leadership.

Our goal is to provide programming and opportunities for professional development both by and for the women of HERS at BSC. Through these, we will achieve our goals which include strengthening the network for BSC women who have attended HERS, providing professional development opportunities for HERS at BSC alumnae, using the expertise of the alumnae to provide professional development for others on campus and beyond, working with other organizations at the College to create a more democratic academic and social environment, and strengthening the HERS network.

The HERS at BSC group will help all at the College, and especially women students, faculty, librarians, staff and administrators, realize that "we don't accomplish anything in this world alonẹ̣̣..." As we work together to expand the tapestry of women's leadership.
