Manuela goes above and beyond her job description and works diligently and quietly to ensure the achievement of goals and the smooth operation of the AAC. |

Central Receiving and Inventory Management |
Central Receiving and Inventory Management was nominated for charting a new professional direction for the department while increasing morale. The CRIM team worked closely with many departments on campus on numerous major college initiatives, and they never shy away from taking on more responsibility. The CRIM team has put the "Central" back into "Central Receiving". |

Ms. Mary Cahill Staff Associate Physical Plant, Transportation Office |
Mary Cahill was nominated for her efforts in coordinating the Recyclemania competition. BSC placed 14 out of 95 colleges and universities in the nation and first in Massachusetts in the first year of competition. Mary's efforts spearheaded the work of students, faculty, and staff to have BSC recognized as a leader in recycling. |

Ms. Jeane Lincoln Staff Assistant Graduate Admissions and Enrollment Management |
Jeane was nominated for going above and beyond in the lives of BSC international students. Jeane is known as "mom" to many of our international students and often helps them with tasks such as food shopping, rides from the airport, transportation to the DMV and Social Security Office as well as being a shoulder to lean on. Through Jeane's outstanding efforts, BSC has benefited greatly. Jeane has enhanced BSC's image throughout the international community. Jeane received three nominations for this award. |

| Christine Regan, Assistant Director, Alumni Relations | Christine was nominated for designing and implementing a monthly online newsletter that will help Alumni stay connected to the College. BSC will see long-term benefits because of Christine's efforts. |
| Elizabeth Coon, Assistant Director, Development | Betsy was nominated for starting a new initiative at BSC which was to increase awareness of philanthropy to our students. This program was designed to show BSC students how they benefit through additional funding received from alumni, parents and friends for scholarships, research, study abroad, and many other programs. |
| Moira O'Brien, Administrative Assistant I, Criminal Justice | Moira was nominated for her outstanding contributions to the Criminal Justice Department. Some of Moira's accomplishments include: handling all bureaucratic tasks with efficiency, dispatch and intelligence, networking across campus on behalf of the department, expanding the functionality and maintaining the department's website. Moira is known by external customers for her upbeat manner and perceptive responses. |
| Brenda Flint, Administrative Assistant I, Earth Science/Geography | Brenda was nominated for her outstanding contributions to the success of the Department of Earth Science and the Department of Geography. She has kept both departments on a smooth course since their separation. Brenda has been instrumental in faculty searches, helping the earth science club, enhancing the visibility of the two departments, and enhancing the appearance and reputation to external visitors and the BSC community. |
| Suzanne Tjoelker, Staff Assistant, Registrar's Office | Suzanne was nominated for continually trying to improve and simplify the processes involved in creating, submitting, and editing course schedules. She is exceptionally adept at working on many levels to solve course and room crises. |
| Stephanie Chaves, Administrative Assistant I, Accounting and Finance | Stephanie was nominated for her outstanding efforts made for the Accounting and Finance Department. Stephanie's accomplishments include assisting in developing the graduate admissions form and establishing the chair drive. Stephanie's efforts have benefited departmental/college effectiveness and efficiency. |
| Kathy Frederick, Administrative Assistant I, Undergraduate Research | Kathy was nominated for her leadership and professionalism. Her strong organizational skills and dedication to her job and the students allow the Undergraduate Research Program and the Adrian Tinsley Program to run smoothly. |

Rondileau Campus Center Staff |
The RCC staff was nominated for their accomplishments since August 2008. The RCC staff has been involved in the renovations of the Campus Center. Because of their efforts, BSC has benefited through the sense of community the Campus Center creates. Their efforts have created more opportunities for students and staff to get together and continue the learning process outside of the classroom. |

Maintenance and Custodial Staff (involved in snow removal) |
The BSC Custodians and Maintenance crews that were involved in snow removal were nominated for their efforts in snow plowing, shoveling and cleaning. This group of employees made the campus a safe and clean place to work. |

Financial Aid Office |
The Financial Aid office was nominated for their exceptional customer service. They were nominated for their professionalism, wealth of knowledge and ability to help. They are a valuable resources to the college community. |

Grounds Crew |
The Grounds Crew was nominated for their snow removal efforts campus wide. The crew provided the expeditious means for all campus operations to return to normal. Their tireless efforts provide safe passage to and from parking lots and the maintenance required of the surrounding sidewalks during all storm events. |

Conference and Event Services Staff |
CESO was nominated for their contributions and commitment to the Colleges mission. CESO staff is committed to ensuring student workers receive more than a job but also the chance to apply what they are learning in the classroom to their work in the office. Some of CESO's accomplishments include: significantly improving customer service and demonstrating an exceptional ability to foster collaboration, communication, and cooperation among colleagues and college constituants. |

| Mary Lou Frias, Senior Director, Health and Counseling | Mary Lou was nominated for her efforts in coordinating the Alternative Spring Break Trip to Honduras. Mary Lou accomplishes this task with a strong conviction to her ideals and those of the College. She offers her professionalism and personal time and talent to provide this experience to our community and to the community of Guaimaca. |
| David Ostroth, Vice President, Student Affairs | David was nominated for founding the Alternative Spring Break trip to Belize. David initiated this program at BSC and many students have benefited from an international experience of service because of his efforts. David's personal dedication and caring nature are evident and have laid the foundation for positive experiences and relationships within and among the BSC community and the Belizean communities. |

| Suzanne Tjoelker, Staff Assistant, Registrar's Office | Suzanne was nominated for significantly improving current methods, procedures and systems. In particular, Suzanne, has made a conscious effort to improve the way classrooms are scheduled. She has worked selflessly to schedule classes in areas that are already occupied. Suzanne has worked tirelessly for the greater good of the college and has helped reduce the carbon footprint of BSC. |
