The Assistant Director supports the Assistant Vice President in all aspects of human resources administration.  Specifically, the Assistant Director serves as the HRIS manager, handles immigration issues for full-time faculty and professional staff, and has oversight for the student employment function.  To schedule an appointment with Jane, please contact her at jthomas@bridgew.edu or at extension 2839.

 
 

The Benefits Administrator is responsible for managing benefit programs for the College’s state employees.  Guidance is provided to new employees, employees with family status changes, employees taking a leave of absence, and those resigning or retiring from employment with the College.  The Benefits Administrator also coordinates workshops on new and existing benefit programs.  To schedule an appointment with Dorothy, please contact her at dgrosswendt@bridgew.edu or at extension 1220.

 

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for advertising all position vacancies within the College and managing the on-line applicant tracking system.  This position is also responsible for training applicant tracking system users and responding to applicant inquiries.  The Recruitment Specialist also serves as an internal consultant to search committees and department heads.  To schedule an appointment or direct questions to Ruth, please contact her at rmolina-walker@bridgew.edu or at extension 2162.

 

Allison Pickup, Human Resources Coordinator, Training and Development

The Human Resources Coordinator designs, manages and markets the training and development programs for employees in coordination with the Assistant Vice President. In addition, this position oversees the College's employee recognition programs and related events and activities. This position also assists with human resources functions and manages the HR website.  The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Assistant Vice President and is responsible for all aspects of human resources data entry for both the HR/CMS and Banner systems.  This position also serves as a contact for all personnel action related requests and reports.  Personal Data Change forms and IT Account Request forms should be forwarded to Linda for processing.  Linda can be contacted at lbardwell@bridgew.edu or at extension 2929.

Heather Richards-Gay, Administrative Assistant I, Recruitment Assistant

The Administrative Assistant coordinates the AFSCME, APA, and excluded employee evaluation processes, prepares ad hoc reports and label requests, and provides administrative support to the HR managers.  Heather can be contacted at Heather.RichardsGay@bridgew.edu or at extension 1897.

 

Jean Galego, Clerk IV, Human Resources Receptionist

The Human Resources Receptionist provides front-line customer service and directs inquiries to appropriate staff members.  This position manages pay check/advice dissemination and maintains the official personnel files of all state employees.  Administrative support is also provided to the recruitment function.  Jean can be contacted at Jean.Galego@bridgew.edu or at extension 1324.

 


Jillian Mulrooney, Clerk IV, Leave Coordinator

The Human Resources Clerk serves as the leave coordinator monitoring FMLA leave for employees and maintains confidential medical files.  This position provides administrative support to the benefits function, including assisting with workers' compensation claims, administering sick leave banks for both faculty and administrators, and supporting the holiday closing and summer work schedule programs.  Jill can be contacted at jillian.mulrooney@bridgew.edu or at extension 2008.

 


Sonya Soloway, Student Employment Assistant

The Student Employment Assistant is responsible for all aspects of the Student Employment function. Duties include: manage paperwork process; responsible for the daily data entry of all student employees; manage pre-hiring of student employees for upcoming academic year; create publications; and, assist with special projects. Student Employment Clerk

The Student Employment Clerk provides customer service assistance in the student employment area with regard to web time entry inquiries, researching student and supervisor questions, answering telephones and managing filing.  This position also provides administrative support to other functional areas within the Human Resources Office.
