The Community Service Center serves as a clearinghouse of volunteer and community service opportunities in the southeastern Massachusetts region. These opportunities may consist of one-time special events, such as a hunger or cancer walk, to semester or year long commitments, such as mentoring or tutoring programs. The center plans campus wide community service projects such as the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and alternative break trips. The center also serves as a resource to faculty who are developing service-learning opportunities for their classes. A database of volunteer organizations and service opportunities is featured on the center's website. For more information, please visit the website listed above.
