Outlining the rules and regulations for student organizations
A student organization is defined as any organization whose full membership is comprised of students with students in leadership roles for the group that has been recognized by the university. Recognition of student organizations is coordinated through the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership. All student organizations must abide by the policies and procedures as outlined in the Student Organization Handbook and this handbook. Student organizations are responsible for knowing and abiding by all university policies. The policies include, but are not limited to:
Student organizations are also responsible for knowing and abiding by all local, state and federal laws. The university may hold both a student organization and its individual members accountable for violations of university policy.
Violation of any university policy, rule or regulation may result
in disciplinary action taken against the organization as outlined in
the Conduct Code and pursuant to departmental policies.
