Institute for Social Justice
The BSU campus defines social justice as promoting fairness, equal access and equal opportunity, ensuring basic human rights, supporting diversity, and working to end prejudice and discrimination. The primary goals for the institute are to infuse this mission in our teaching and learning, to use it to build a sense of community and inclusion on campus, and to promote social change in the region, the nation, and the world.
