The BSC Instructional Technology program prepares educators and trainers from a variety of professional backgrounds. Candidates learn how to design effective curriculum using existing learning theories and contemporary instructional design models. Candidates will collaboratively engage in planning and designing both in-person and online, with ongoing faculty support. Candidates learn how to integrate Massachusetts Curriculum Framework or content knowledge in different subject areas while using a multitude of strategies and research to meet the needs of diverse learners. In this supportive and innovative academic program, candidates will develop confidence in the use of emerging technologies while integrating technology into their teaching and training.
Our program has been approved by the Massachusetts Department of Education and complies with International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Technology Leadership Standards as well as ISTE/NCATE Standards for Educational Technology Programs.
