Conclusion

In this curriculum web you have learned about the SMART Board interactive whiteboard's hardware components, and how to set up and orient the SMART Board.  You have explored the SMART Board toolbar and SMART Notebook, as well as how to insert images, manage attachments, create links, and save and print lessons you have created.

How am I supposed to remember all this?
The best way to become proficient with any skill is to use it.  Select the information most valuable to you and apply it to your job.  Once you become comfortable with the basics, you can always refer back to this curriculum web or visit the SMART Training Center (www.smarttech.com/trainingcenter) and take a free online session.  You can always visit SMART's education solutions website (http://education.smarttech.com) for lesson ideas.

Your exploration of each of these modules as well as the hands on practice you have reviewed and completed, have given you a basic experience of using a SMART Board within a classroom.  Now that you are familiar with SMART Board basics it is time for you to start using it in your classroom and enjoy and results.  Be sure to check out our link to "Additional Resources" for lesson ideas.

Thank you for all of the feedback from our classmates regarding this INST 523 project.
