The Bridgewater State College Foundation was established in 1984 as a 501(c)(3) trust to raise and manage funds for the benefit of Bridgewater State College. The Foundation works closely with the trustees, administration of the College, and our Alumni Association to promote the college and to raise private support for the institution. The college relies on both state support and gifts from alumni and friends to progress as an institution. Endowed funds play a vital role in furthering faculty and student research, securing new academic equipment for classrooms and laboratories, creating scholarships for study at Bridgewater and abroad and more.
Activities of the Foundation include: administration of endowment and property assets, encouraging current-purpose, deferred and in-kind support from individuals and corporations, and the annual Chairmen's Dinner each May.
