The Tahiti Study Tour will focus on the applied study of environmental economics within the tropical environment of French Polynesia. Prior to traveling, the class will do some background research on the country and formulate ideas for a community service project to be done while on this exciting, two week long Study Tour. Students will embark on their journey on Saturday, June 14 from the Logan Airport. From there, they will travel to Los Angeles and Tahiti, arriving on Sunday morning at the University of California Berkeley Gump Station facilities. After enjoying a day of relaxing and activities, and snorkeling, the class will meet daily throughout the week for field trips and explorations, program activities, and more snorkeling excursions. The students will leave Moorea on Saturday, June 28 and arrive back in Boston on Sunday, June 29.

1. Complete the BSC Study Tour Application, Scholarship Application, and Course Registration Form below and return them to the Office of International Programs along with your non-refundable $50.00 application fee (check or credit card only).
2. Visit the Financial Aid office to discuss how you will fund your trip. Most students take out loans to fund the tour. Please note that scholarship funding is not guaranteed and historically is not awarded until after the program fees are due. Students should not depend upon this to fund their trip.
3. Apply for a passport immediately and be sure to have it expedited. There is a major back-up in the passport agencies and students may not be able to travel if they do not receive their passport in time.
