The Latin American and Caribbean Studies program at Bridgewater State College gives interested students the opportunity to use the analytical tools of various disciplines to learn about the societies of Middle America, South America, and the Caribbean, including the Latin American diaspora in the United States and elsewhere.
Students from any discipline may choose a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. This minor will enhance academic and professional preparation of students, by promoting an understanding of a region that is adjacent to the United States and that is increasingly integrated politically, economically, and culturally.
