Background of Researcher

Hi,
my name is Kate Goldner. I am currently a Title I teacher in a
suburban public school district outside Boston. I currently service
students in grades 3-5 and I have been working in a third grade classroom on
a literacy unit. Before this position, I have been a primary
classroom teacher for many years working in the inner city and in the
district that I am in now. I was interested in
read-alouds in the classroom because I enjoy reading stories to children
and I realized the students were having difficulty in retelling the story to
me. I hope you find my website informative, friendly and easy to
